Cookie Policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

RAYVO uses only what it needs to work: cookies that keep you signed in, a few settings saved in your browser, and offline storage for the installed app. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites — so there is nothing optional to accept.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (local storage) works in a similar way and keeps small settings on your device.

2. Essential cookies

These are required for signing in and cannot be switched off in RAYVO. Blocking them in your browser will stop you from signing in.

  • next-auth.session-token (or __Secure-next-auth.session-token) — keeps you signed in to the platform.
  • next-auth.csrf-token — protects sign-in against cross-site request forgery.
  • next-auth.callback-url — returns you to the right page after signing in.
  • sunsolar_view_org — used only by RAYVO platform staff when viewing a company's workspace for support.
  • sidebar_state — remembers whether the app's side menu is open or collapsed (kept for 7 days).

3. Settings saved in your browser

These stay on your device and are not sent to our servers with each request.

  • rayvo-theme — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
  • rayvo-cookie-notice — remembers that you have seen the cookie notice.
  • rayvo-installed — remembers that you installed the app, so we stop offering it.
  • rayvo-field-recent — the records you opened last in the Field kit, for quick access.
  • rayvo-voice-lang and rayvo-voice-talkback — your choices for the voice assistant.
  • Quotation drafts — a temporary backup of unsaved quotation edits, so a closed tab does not lose your work.
  • rayvo-sw-updating and rayvo-chunk-reload-at (session storage, cleared when the tab closes) — let the app reload itself cleanly after an update.

4. Offline storage for the installed app

When you use RAYVO as an installed app, it keeps a little more on your device so it works on site without signal.

  • rayvo-offline (IndexedDB) — site updates, photos, tasks and leads saved while offline, waiting to be sent. Each is removed once it reaches our servers.
  • App cache (service worker) — the app's own files, such as its pages, icons and fonts, so it opens quickly and offline. It holds no business records.
  • Push subscription — only if you turn notifications on, so alerts reach this device. You can turn it off in the app or in your browser.

5. Third parties

RAYVO does not load advertising or analytics scripts, and fonts are served from our own servers. A few features hand you to another service, whose own cookie and privacy policies then apply:

  • WhatsApp (Meta) — links and buttons that open a WhatsApp chat.
  • Dodo Payments — the checkout page when you pay for a plan or an invoice. It runs on Dodo's website and may set its own cookies there.
  • Google Maps, Esri and OpenStreetMap — the map shown when you pick a site location inside the app.

6. Managing cookies

You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings. Clearing site data signs you out, resets your theme choice and removes saved quotation drafts — and any offline updates that have not been sent yet, so let the app sync first.
